Our special guest for today is Ms. Anal Prajapati, who is a Doctor, a Dietician, a Ph.D. in Food & Nutrition & a pure soul.

Q. How to balance your lifestyle?

A. A healthy lifestyle can be maintained by eating healthy food , managing your stress , exercising regularly , maintaining a good sleep cycle. 

Q. What is the level of stress between one person who sleeps a lot and another person who doesn't sleeps at all because depression? 

A. In depression or anxiety first you should understand that you need help, in our society it is considered as a taboo. Taboo in short if you visit a psychiatrist people think that you are mad and cannot manage things by yourself that's why you need help.
Take the help of the psychiatrist, then concentrate on your lifestyle and nutrition first self examine and then take the required steps to come out of depression and anxiety. 

Q. How does exercise, yoga, pranayam & meditation work ? 

A. All these contribute 100% to a healthy lifestyle.
 All these boost your metabolism,  yoga and meditation makes your brain healthy and powerful. Exercise keeps your overall heart health and muscle building energetic. It must be included in your day-to-day lifestyle to be healthy and fit in a longer run.

Q. Do you remember any case of yours in which the patient lost hope in life but came here  & had motivation?
 
A. I remember one female patient of mine who was 40 years old, due to some complications in the body she had half body paralysis so because of sitting the whole day she was overweight,  she had 2 kids and she had issues that she can't walk properly, she can't do any work,  the whole day she had to be dependent on someone, so her frustration level was also very high.

So I started her treatment with walking 2 rounds and gradually came at a stage where she became very active and lost 20 kgs and started doing all the work without depending on anyone and she became so confident about herself .
She followed the routine as I guided her with discipline. I just guided her but she took the step towards her healthy lifestyle. she is an inspiration for Me Too! You need a lifestyle coach who is your overall guide and ensures thay you take up the right tools and tricks for a healthy lifestyle in a long run.

Q. Who is your motivation as you are a doctor , home maker & a mother ?

A. I'll tell you one thing there's nothing like motivation which exists in the longer run,  you just have to be consistent in whatever you do to succeed. 
 At times many of my patients motivate me when I am low , you should always enjoy what you love to doand be satisfied with your work.
 
Q. What are the main components of foods like protein ,carbs , fat etc., & how much one should consume it in a day ?

A. There are 3 main companies which is required for a healthy body 1st comes  Carbs , 2nd protein and  3rd fats. Carbs includes rice and protein , they provide energy to the body.
Protein helps in muscle building , protein May include Dal, pulses, milk etc., 
Fats are required in a body but in small quantity always fats may include ghee oil dry fruits etc.
A meal should include 50% of vegetables where we get fibre and micro nutrients,  it may be in the form of a salad or mix it with sprouts. The rest 25% should be roti or rice either,  left 25% should be your protein. 
Balance your food on a daily basis, always avoid packed food as it contains a lot of preservatives and acid regulators.

Q. In today's world there are a lot of diseases and an unhealthy lifestyle, how would you guide everyone in general as a lifestyle coach to be healthy and maintain a healthy lifestyle? 

A. Firstly thank God to give you this day and have gratitude always as you wake up in the morning. Pray to god always connect to the divine to get the positive energy, always wake up 15 to 20 minutes earlier to your schedule so that you can manage the time efficiently and do your routine you work without a rush.
 
Take proper breakfast, lunch and dinner which includes fruits , vegetables,  coconut water etc. in your diet to make it a full healthy meal.
Always make a conscious choice what to eat and what not to, understand your gut always never be in a guilt after eating , always eat 20% less than your stomach demands.
 Never take your food for granted, respect your food have gratitude that you have the food in your plate which many others don't have.
Chew your food properly , at least take 15 to 20 minutes to complete a meal.
Stay fit & healthy always.
