What is Calling of Reiki ? | ft. Ms. Mitali

Our special guest for today is Ms. Mitali, who is a holistic healer, social worker & a very humble person.

Q. Can you please introduce yourself to our audience?

A. I started my journey as a school councilor in 2013, After that i had keen interest in social work after that the my journey began. I did MSW (Master in Social Work) after that i started my NGO & then i learnt REIKI,MEDITATION,PHYSIOTHERAPY & many more things. I am a curious learner & always find answers to the questions that arrive. I am a Holistic Healer.

Q. From when this journey & your interest in social work develop ?

A. I love social work from my childhood because of my father, from very young age i have seen him giving & helping people, so he is my default inspiration always. when i was young my elder sister learnt reiki, at that time i got to know about reiki.

This journey started back in 2015, when i got the calling from reiki. Reiki calling comes when you are in extreme need of help it may be because of any family, professional or relationship issues. when you are stuck into a loop which is on going & when you cant come out of it, there comes the calling of reiki. Its then reiki holds your hand & says come lets heal together & grow together from within to come out of that loop.

Q. What is your story behind the Call of Reiki?

A. There have been multiple stories behind it, when i was doing MSW we use to visit many rural arears, villages there we use to see how people use to suffer from diseases, family health issues etc., here came the first calling.

Second calling was when i was in a relationship with my husband at that time he was not my husband but the relationship we had that time was suffering alot of ups & downs. so then i thought i'll have to find a way to come out of these situations, then i had a calling to do something for myself.

Q. Reiki is learned through a course ?

A. Yes, its learned & practiced through a course where it can be done both online & offline. Reiki means energy & energy is present everywhere in the whole universe. i have learned Reiki both through online as well as offline.

Reiki is of many types like Usui Reiki, Karuna Reiki , Tibetan Reiki & many more., there are many no. of reiki the process is same for all the reiki just the symbols are different like the person who has implemented the reiki with his perception he gives it his name. For ex. Usui Reiki was discovered by Mikao Usui that's why its named after him.

Q. How does Reiki contribute towards your social work ?

A. Reiki has helped me to serve the people who are in need. I feel very happy & satisfied that i learnt it & became capable that i can help others in some or the other way. I get vibes from people, i can feel the positive or negative energy.

Q. How do you empower people at the NGO ?

A. I think education is the biggest tool in this world to empower anyone. Lack of learning & knowledge is the reason why half of the world is suffering. Through our NGO we motivate people to educate & provide them all the basic necessities require for education like giving their donations, fees, books , stationary & many more.

Apart from education we also provide Skill Development Workshops especially for specially abled people who want to earn & sustain a living. we take workshops on paper art, jewelry making, clay art making, candle making. we teach & train them so that they earn through selling it & become independent.

Q. Can you also brief us about the donation camps & movements where the NGO is a part ?

A. There is a movement called Feko Mat started by our NGO, there is a beautiful story behind it. Back in 2016, when i was i college one fine afternoon we were just sitting for tea, there someone threw garbage in the dustbin, a rag picker came to pick up the rag with him there was a little kid as he was segregating the rag there were some broken crayons in it. as the kid saw the broken crayons he had a million dollar smile on his face inspite of them been broken & started using them instantly making some figures out of it . Then & there i had a thought of starting this campaign called Feko Mat in which we use to conduct donation camps where anyone can donate things which are no more use to them & those donations we use to give to the people who are in need.

I'll tell you one thing the way you are, that type of people you attract in your life, this is the basic law of attraction .

It means Self - Work & Self - Healing is the best work one can do to have a best life.
