What is the History of Reiki ?| Reiki Healing Ft. Ms. Mitali

Our special guest for today is Ms. Mitali, who is a holistic healer, social worker & a very humble person.

Q. What is the full form of Reiki & what is its meaning?

A. Reiki is a full word it has no full form, its a Japanese word which means Universal Force Of Life. Energy that converts anything into reality is Reiki.

In 1922 , it was started by Dr. Mikao Usui, he felt connected to this reiki so he named it Usui Reiki. For ex: A small kid falls down & he is hurt , his mother consoles & tells him that nothing happened just by touching the wound with her hands & says its all good , it heals automatically. what is this ? It's nothing but Reiki.

Reiki means taking out negative energy & bringing in positive energy . Reiki only works through intentions . If your intentions are pure & with unconditional love then every person in this world is practicing reiki in their day to day life. We are directly or indirectly connected to reiki always.

In 1922, Dr, Mikao was a physician , a lot of spread of plague & war was there at that time with a lot of diseases prevailing. He thought me despite of being a dr. i am unable to cure people, there is something missing in medical . So to cure people fast he left his family & started mediating. His whole family use to do Zen Meditation from past 10 generations.

Q. What is Zen Meditation ?

A. Zen Mediation means Buddha's meditation. Lord Buddha told that i am not god , don't worship my idol but practice my principles & teachings & implement them in your day to day life to handle the difficult situation in life.

Dr. Mikao knew that mediation is the only option where he'll get the answer to all his questions. He use to meditate from his childhood as it was the culture of his family.

One day he was fasting, he saw a boy was hurt & wounded , Dr. Mikao healed him with his hands, to the magic as he removed his hands the wound was healed without any medications.

After this event he again fasted for 21 days & while meditating on the 21st day he attained enlightenment from then this energy is called Reiki.

Q. What is the duration process of Reiki ?

A. Reiki duration depends upon the type of severe problem we have, the shortest time duration for the process of Reiki is 1 minute & the longest time is 6 hours or it may also go on for days you can practice it in one long go or in breaks depends upon the type of problem to be healed.. There is no fix duration of Reiki it depends on the issue, acceptance of the healer & the healing .

Just to create an environment for healing we use this Crystals, Music etc., Candles create an aroma , Crystals reflect energy that helps to heal our body.
