Hello everyone,

i.e. Weight loss v/s Fat loss.
We have a special guest today with us on our show let's welcome dr. Anal prajapati to share her expertise on this topic.
She is a dietician and a lifestyle coach.
Nowadays people blindly follow differentypes of crash diets irrespective of their body types these may cause severe side effects on their body.
So the role of a dietian is to guide us and support us in this journey keeping in mind our body type and daily lifestyle routine.
Let's start this show with few general information and discussion on fat loss & weight loss.
In weight loss people usually follow crash diets which results in weight loss but this will not strengthen your muscles and will lead to lower energy levels and you may feel lethargic the whole day and your skin will also become saggy and dull before time.
On the other hand fat loss means you are Strengthening and keepi g your muscles intact with losing fat.
This will keep up your energy levels and metabolism boosted.
Concluding fat loss is a good and a better option compared to weight loss.
So now let's discuss the tips and tricks to be kept in mind while including fat loss in our day-to-day lives.
* Regulate your lifestyle
* Be hydrated always
* Minimize your junk food
* Good sleep cycle
*Uninstall all the food apps
* You don't have to eat less you just have to eat right
* Set short term goals and take baby steps towards them
* Walk walk & walk
Weight loss is a psychological thing in our minds, we all know what is good for our health and what's not. we should always try to control our taste buds because we are not going to stay on a diet always.
So let's build-up a relationship with our food where you know where you have to stop and where you have to continue.
You should know which foods you have to consume in moderate quantities and which food you have to consume more.
This relationship between your body and your food is going to stay with you the whole life and is going to give you amazing results in long term.
Different people follow different diets presently they are a lot of diets which can be followed example paleo, keto, Mediterranean, detox, intermittent fasting etc.
One should always follow a diet which one can be consistent on and can follow in long term.
There is a mantra to follow a diet for a long term and that is always take a balanced meal which includes all carbs protein fats etc.
We see a lot of diet plans and videos on YouTube claiming good results but follow but following these diets blindly will not fetch you the desired results and may have a lot of side effects on your body giving you problems or disorders for a lifetime.
That's why always consult a dietian or a lifestyle expert before starting any diet or a plan so that your body composition and your lifestyle is known and your diet can be customised accordingly.
What's the key to consistency here?
As Dr.Anal stated Always keep in mind these 2 things if you are following a diet 1st dinner on time 2nd early to bed.
What's the role of exercise in weight loss or fat loss?
This exercise is 20% and diet is 80% undoubtedly exercise is important to keep your body active to raise your metabolism and to raise up your energy levels so that you can carry on your day-to-day activities with more energy and enthusiasm .
A human body is like a car or AC which had to be taken care or given service time to time for its better functioning.
Health is more important that wealth.
Stress management also plays a very important role in weight loss.
Let's not give excuses to not follow a healthy lifestyle and pattern.
Concluding
" Eating healthy food fills your body with energy and nutrients imagine your cells smiling back at you and saying: Thank you!"
