Our special guest for today is Mr. Manan Dalal who is a Actor, Casting Director & Film maker.

Q. Sir can you introduce yourself to our audience ?

A. Since 2017,I am in Film Industry here i have learnt acting course. My first movie i did was a Gujarati movie named Gujarati Wedding In Goa in that movie i worked as a Junior Artist. After that i got offers for other Guajarati movies . After which i got a chance to do Bollywood Movies, Album Songs, Serials, Government Projects & dramas. After which i also learnt writing course & worked as a Casting Director .

Q. How did you get inspired to get into this industry ?

A. I don't have a family background in this industry , no one from my family is into this film industry.

But i have many of my friends in this industry & we use to sit together so i have a lot of contacts here in the industry.

Q. How was your First Audition in the Guajarati movie ?

A. I was very nervous at the time of my first audition, in between also i stuck a no. of times. Initially you don't know how to do it . After my First audition i gave approximately 500 auditions till i didn't get selected.

Q. Which Bollywood Movies have you worked in ?

A.I have worked in 7 Bollywood movies & those are:

Q. What are the Disadvantages of working in this industry ?

A. In this industry recognizing people is very important, there is a lot of fraud also happening in name of the film industry. They give false hope to the struggling people to give them good name & fame.

No fees is charged for audition but here nowadays people create false audition & loot people big amounts in name of the auditon.

Q. What is the difference between a Director & a Casting Director ?

A. Directors are the creative lead of the film but where as a Casting Director is a liaison between the Producer and Director, and the actors and their representation. Also known as a CD, they are tasked with filling the character roles based on what the director is looking for. So Casting Director plays a very important role in a movie.

Q. As a Casting Director you worked in how many movies?

A. Working as a Casting director is a very tuff & a challenging job.I worked as a Casting Director in Mitron, Made in China & a Gujarati movie Named Ventilator.
